This group focuses on students between the ages of 11 and 19. The members are drawn from all walks of life and represent many churches, schools, races and socioeconomic backgrounds. Students are accepted based on audition, satisfactory to excellent behavior and academic performance. Prior music training is not required.

Music, creative movement and other forms of the Arts are used as the catalyst to instill basic social values, teach discipline, hard work, self esteem, team work, community and service. With performance as a “hook” to capture their attention and sustain their interest, we give students the opportunity to realize their creative potential and translate that achievement to other crucial aspects of their lives.

In addition to periodic performances within the community, students attend a two week summer music camp after which, select students and invited to tour nationally and/or internationally. The performance repertoire includes selection from various genres.

Academic success is an important aspect of the choir’s existence therefore; academic tutoring is made available to all participating students.

The choir is in residence at the Cornerstone Church in Athens Georgia.
